“Brilliant, brightening ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. Very intense and appealing notes of tobacco, raspberries and dark cherries, nice game. Lots of juicy raspberry fruit on the palate, opens with present, fine-mashed tannins, salty, very good depth, covers a white area.”

“Welkom in het Teatro of Dreams. De affiches waar de stad mee vol hangen beloven Brunello uit de buitencategorie. Uw dirigent is Francesco Leanza die wordt bijgestaan door zijn secondanten Sabine en Felix Eichbauer. Uit een jaar vol rijkdom, schoonheid en sereniteit. De openzwaaiende gordijnen van kersenvelours. Het zachtjes krakende podium van gepolitoerd eiken, de nauwelijks waarneembare fluistering van groot hout. Tussen de coulissen verdringen zich hoogglanzende pruimen, frivole frambozen en zoete specerijen. Vanuit het hokje van de souffleur valt de geur van tabak te ontwaren. Hij zal toch niet zitten te roken? Een onophoudelijke applaus klinkt. De staande ovatie. Het smeken om een encore. Verdient volle zalen en verlangt een dito portemonnee.”
